With noble aspirations, I submit
myself to tutelage in prosody
from those who, long ago, nobly acquit
themselves in verse, with poise and dignity.
A humble, hopeful minstrel, I define
myself in metaphor and simile.
My words, they are a veritable shrine;
a versified and metrical marquee
to Shakespeare, Shelley, and Sir Walter Scott;
to all the Masters of meter and rhyme
whose work, in years long gone so deftly taught
me poetry, defying space and time.
But, with respect, I'll quit this lofty stage,
quiescent in the presence of the greats.
My muse, that flighty, enigmatic sage
has left me in humbled creative straits.

So, it is finally time for me to get a hair cut. Well, maybe not a lot of it will come off, but I just realized today that with hair down to my belly button, it's about darn time I've gotten some split ends...heehee, sure enough! I spazzed when i saw them...how could i not notice? hmm....this means school is really taking over. well, i cut my own hair anyways, so it's not a big deal. just thought i'd change my journal entry to something totally irrelevant to the times...cherrio ya'll!
I'm really wishing the weather would make up it's mind...It's making me miss California where the weather was either rainy, cloudy, or sunny. Here, it's either Super Cold or Super Hot. Bah, i'm just being pessimistic because my photography has been lagging lately. Don't mind me. What I REALLY want to say is...I can't WAIT for SPRING...even the rainy days....I love the rain anyways...
OH! Go to Millennium Park! It's awesome this time of year. Um...there's the Sears Center...zoom down Lake Shore drive!
